Glenn Ford, rose to fame after serving in World War II, thanks to several film roles in the '30s and beyond. He was born in Quebec City, Canada, in, 1916. He rose to fame after serving in World War II, with roles alongside actresses Bette Davis and Rita Hayworth. Ford's career began in 1939 and continued well into the 1990s, including the 1957 film 3:10 to Yuma and a small role in the original Superman film.
